If the first three episodes had for me a taste of déjà vu, déjà entendu, the following ones produced the effect of a deflagration… I discovered the A of LGBTQIA+ (asexual / aromantic) to which I had never really paid attention until then. With it, I revisited 10 years of my emotional and sexual life. I replayed in my head the discussions among friends about couple, the articles in the press about the lack of libido and all my little unconscious gestures to cling to a form of heterosexuality by default. It’s strange to realize how little I listened to what was screaming within me.

I have yet to navigate the immense spectrum of possibilities that asexuality/aromanticism opens up for me, it’s terrifying and terribly exciting at the same time.
