Chloé Lacan has more than one string to her artistic bow: she is a French musician, author and composer. Plaisirs Solitaires is her first show. This title, with an accordion, is about a woman who masturbates in her room thinking about a man.
“Perdu dans ma chambrette, j’ai l’art et la manière de m’envoyer en l’air, sans l’appui de personne, sans dépendre de toi” (traduction: “Lost in my little room, I have the art and the way to get laid, without anyone’s support, without depending on you”). I really like this song, beautifully written and performed in a tone that is alternately innocent, confident and playful: joyful, poetic and funny at the same time.
